♥️ The teacher started with asking Allah for useful knowledge, good fortune and accepted deeds.
➡️ Allah gave an example with the attributes of Bani israil. When the people of the prophet Moses were thirsty and the prophet Moses hit his stick against the rock and water came out of the stone for his people to drink. water that gushes 12 springs that can be enjoyed by 12 tribes.
🎯This is a picture of the blessings that Allah gave to bani Israil which should be grateful. And bani Israel get a lot of favors but they are not grateful for what is given to them. Then the Children of Israel were given favors with Manna and Salwa but they were not grateful, they wanted more than that. paya attention that often we are given blessings from Allah but we are not grateful for what is there but ask for more that is not in our grasp.
🌟Allah ﷻ says :
وَإِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصۡبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٖ وَٰحِدٖ فَٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخۡرِجۡ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مِنۢ بَقۡلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَاۖ قَالَ أَتَسۡتَبۡدِلُونَ ٱلَّذِي هُوَ أَدۡنَىٰ بِٱلَّذِي هُوَ خَيۡرٌۚ ٱهۡبِطُواْ مِصۡرٗا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلۡتُمۡۗ وَضُرِبَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ وَٱلۡمَسۡكَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعۡتَدُونَ
♥️And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." [Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing.
[Al baqarah 61].
♥️Bani Israel asked the prophet Moses to ask Allah to bring down vegetables, cucumbers, beans.
even though what they asked for was lower than what Allah had given.
💥We often seek what is lower than the hereafter, pursue the world, pursue humiliation.
♥️Ali bin Abi Talib said, don't keep the world in your heart, but just put it in your hand. Then they brought shame and humiliation on them, and they received God's wrath.
This (happened) because they always denied the verses from Allah and killed the prophets without the right reason. This (happens) because they always act disobediently and beyond the limit. They are given humiliation for asking lower than what Allah has given them.
👑Ustadzah reminded us to keep ourselves away from devil's paths that lead us to commit immorality.
♥️The deeds of the Jews that was mentioned were received the wrath of God.
At the time of the Prophet, the Jews who lived in Mecca felt more noble than the Prophet, even though they were said to be people who received the wrath of Allah.
🌟Al-qur'an the book that comes with grace ... the middle nature ... when it comes with threats, it also comes with good news, mentions heaven also describes hell.
♥️Surely the believer, the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabi-in, whoever among them truly believe in Allah, the judgment day, and do good deeds, they will receive the reward of Their Lord, there is no concern for them, and neither (nor do) they grieve.
➡️Allah in this verse mentions the believers, Jews, and nashara. Namely those who believed in the Prophet who came in their day. For example the Jews, those who converted to Islam at the time of the Prophet Moses. The Christians here are also those who embraced Islam at the time of Prophet Isa.
♥️Ibn Kathir mentioned when telling about the Islamic friend Salman Al Farisi, how he continued to seek guidance with the arrival of the Prophet.
🌟Allah ﷻ says :
وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٖ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
♥️And [recall] when We took your covenant, [O Children of Israel, to abide by the Torah] and We raised over you the mount, [saying], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that perhaps you may become righteous."
[al baqarah 63].
🎯 What is meant by taking with strength, is holding fast to tawheed, by listening, studying and practicing it .
Also what is meant by واذكروا is by remembering and spreading this tauhid .. Spread it until it reaches all corners of the earth.
لعلكم تتقون.
🌟i wish you are cautious.
It is a human nature that often falls into neglect and mistakes. However, Allah always opens the door of His repentance, the door of His mercy is wide open for His servants.
🌟Allah ﷻ says :
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيۡتُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَۖ فَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
♥️Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers [al baqara:64]
➡️ I don't know how many times we fall into sins every day .. Then we need to repent too many many times
🌟 Then Allah ﷻ says :
وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱعۡتَدَوۡاْ مِنكُمۡ فِي ٱلسَّبۡتِ فَقُلۡنَا لَهُمۡ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ
♥️ And you had already known about those who transgressed among you concerning the sabbath, and We said to them, "Be apes, despised."[al baqara 65]
🎯 The jews has promised to Allah, Allah forbid them from fishing on saturday, but they betrayed Allah. and made treason. then Allah punish them by turning them into despicable monkeys. why became apes?? becaue we think it is a creature close to humans phisically from humans.
🌟 Then Allah ﷻ says :
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا نَكَٰلٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهَا وَمَا خَلۡفَهَا وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [them] and a lesson for those who fear Allah .[2:66] will be continue on the next halaqah, إن شاء الله♥️
