🌴 Teacher remind us that maybe we are in the last jumu'ah in haram month.

Not because the last month, but because of the month. Let's make the most of this precious time! After this we will enter islamic new year.

It's time to plan what we will do in the next year, by understanding what we have done in the past years.

🚫 As a custom and habit, we used to greet each other and say happy new year.

📌 It is something to be warned, there's nothing special to do. But this is an opportunity to evaluate our practices, worship, our relationship with Allah.

In addition, Allah has united us in Ukhuwah Islamiyah. It's not just those in Syria, Yemen, Egypt. But all of us in all countries are united with Ukhuwah Islamiyah.

🍄 Previously, we learned the types of nafs (Lust) :

1️⃣ Nafs Muthmainnah

2️⃣ Nafs Lawwamah,

3️⃣ Nafs Ammaarah,

4️⃣ Nafs Bis Suu'.

🔷  Nafs Lawwamah is a soul that reproach themselves.

When it happen? When we committed sin

🍃 The sayings of Wallohu A'lam are half of science

🌹 The words of the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam :

*"In my ummah, shirk is more invisible than the ants trail"*

🍃 What people of heaven regret of? They regret their time passed by without dzikr/remambrance of Allah.

We evaluate ourselves of our deed. What we neglect, what allowed. Ask ourselves, why we do mubah things like eating and drinking?

✏️ Evaluate yourselves whenever you do something ,are you going to do it or not

Consider before doing it !!

Every one of us must fall into sin, may Allah avoid us from this, *so tie our words with istighfar. Always asking forgiveness from Allah.*

📌 Evaluate yourselves! Start from your obligations, whether you are lacking in fullfilling your obligation, so that you try  to cover up what you're lacking.

🌹(QS. Al-Hasyr, 59:18)

"O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do."

📜 Umar ibn Al-khattab Radhiyallahu 'anhu said :

"You should judge yourself before you are judged. And let you consider yourself. Get ready for the big day, when our deeds revealed"

🍃 Pious people harder in evaluating himself than a greedy ally, who always calculates. Then evaluate yourselves from what prohibited, whether you fall in them, so that you hasten to repent, ask forgiveness from Allah!

🍃 Pious people who are a believer, evaluate themselves and straighten it, so that they always in the best state. And force themselves to do worship and obey so that they can worship with perfect sincerity.

We evaluate ourselves about what we did, and what we said. Because we will be questioned of our hearing, sight, and heart.

🌹(QS. Al-Isra', 17:36)

"And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned."

📌 So judge yourself before you are judged.

It is obligatory for a Muslim to evaluate himself and struggle in facing what is written in his heart and worries in his heart. Because the beginning of goodness and ugliness is the whispers of the heart and what comes to him.

📜 Pay attention to the words of Imam Ahmad which are amazing :

"A person will not reach the level of expert in fiqh until he is angry with humans because of Allah."

📜 Muhammad bin Waasi' said :

"If sin had a smell, then none of you would sit with me."

📜 How beautiful is Ibnul Qoyyim's advice that :

"Muhasabah can be done by starting from seeing the obligatory deeds. If he gets a deficiency then try to fulfill it.

Then what Allah prohibites, if he knows that he has committed a sin, then cover it with repentance, forgiveness and goodness that can erase it.

Muhasabah yourself for negligence, and cover it with dhikr and face Allah.

Think about our body movements, spoken speech, the journey of the legs, the actions of the hands, and the hearing of the ears, what do you want with all of this, and who is you doing it for?"

📌 Among the benefits of self-evaluation (muhasabah) is knowing the rights of Allah. Because the basis of self-muhasabah is evaluate for his negligence of the rights of Allah.

🍃 Muhasabah will lead us to know Allah's rights

🍃 We will not be able to get success except with Allah's taufiq, and maghfirah (forgiveness) from Allah

🍃 And among the benefits of knowing the rights of Allah is that we never feel that our charity has been accepted because there is no message from Allah that our charity is accepted.

📌 Trying as hard as possible to obey and leave immorality in order to make it easier for muhasabah.

Be a children of the hereafter, do not compete in the treasures of the world!!

🌹 From Abu Abdillah Nu'man bin Basyir radhiallahuanhu he said, I heard Rasulullah ﷺ say:

"Verily, what is lawful is clear and what is haram is clear. Between the two, there are things that are syubhat (vague) which are not known by many people. So whoever is afraid of syubhat means he has saved his religion and honor. And whoever falls into a case of syubhat, will fall into a case that is forbidden. Like a shepherd who herds his grazing animals around (fields) which are forbidden to enter it, then gradually he will enter it."

🌹 (Al-Hadits)

دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ

"Leave everything that doubts you and take what does not doubt you"

🍄 One of the lessons learned from the rawatib (sunnah prayer) is as a patch or to complement the deficiencies that may always occur in it (prayer fardhu).

📜 The Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam prayed at night so that his legs were broken, then he said:

*"Don't I want to be a grateful servant?"*

✏️ Salaf was too harsh and severe in  self accounting and examination. They examined everything they did even those allowed things for fear of falling in wrong doings unwillingly.

🍃 Accounting self also includes not to follow it in everything it likes (passions) even in mibahat. Like eating too much what we like. This can lead us to sleep and let quiam (night prayers).

📜 Ibn Al Quayim said :

"That a human body is made of earth, and his soul from heaven. So whenever he satisfies his body, he will stick to dunya (this world), and the more he does good things his soul will get closer to heaven."

🍭Sisters don't forget to make Dua for yourselves and all Muslims. We are still in sacred months.

Wallahu a'lam bisshawab
